The symbiotic relationship between art and science in both photography and cooking has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. My passion for photography began in high school and was refined while getting my degree at Rochester Institute of Technology. While still in school I began working with Michael Partenio. Over the past 19 years he and I have evolved into a great team, shooting national interior, lifestyle, and editorial assignments. The science, art, and love of cooking have always been the foundation of family life for me. My mother, an amazing self-taught cook, has encouraged me since I first showed interest at the age of four. We relish the time we get to spend together in the kitchen. Whether collaborating with my Mom, Michael, or stylists and art directors on the set, utilizing these skills is not so much work as it is life.
